ABOUT THE JOB:
We seek a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall architecture of our systems, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and secure. This role will also require them to work with other stakeholders like Technology Leads, Product Owners, and Senior Architects to ensure that project outcomes are consistent with the original goals.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Design and implement distributed systems and microservices-based architecture that meets the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, product owners to ensure that the architecture aligns with overall business goals and technical requirements.
- Work with various teams, including development, QA, and operations to ensure that solutions are implemented successfully.
- Identify and mitigate potential issues with the architecture, such as security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of distributed systems and microservices (including legacy applications).
- Develop and deliver Proof of Concept (POC) features to demonstrate product and technology viability.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- B. Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
- 10+ years of Software Engineering experience with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Development experience in Back-end (Java, .Net) technologies and DB systems (MSSQL & Mongo).
- Working understanding of front-end technologies (Angular/React) for integration with the backend.
- Extensive knowledge of distributed, scalable, multi-tenant cloud applications (we use AWS as the primary cloud service provider).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in defining, designing, and developing application interfaces like REST APIs that can support mission-critical cloud applications handling large volumes of data through APIs.
- Product Development, scaling, and maintenance experience. • Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
