UniFocus Survey Solution Selected by Bria Communities to Gain Feedback From Senior Residents

Dallas, July 19, 2012 - UniFocus is pleased to announce that Bria Communities, a family of three seniors’ communities located in British Columbia, Canada, recently selected the company’s GUESTScope™ satisfaction survey solution to gain quarterly feedback from its residents.

 

“Making sure our residents are satisfied is our number one goal. I used the GUESTScope solution in my previous position with a hotel chain and knew it would be an excellent fit for what we are doing at Bria Communities,” said Craig Rumsby, General Manager of The Waterford, part of the Bria Communities family. “UniFocus gives us the ability to track and measure the key drivers of our business while presenting those results in an operations focused way, allowing our managers to respond to them effectively.”

 

Bria Communities is using a hybrid version of the survey solution, including both electronic and paper card surveys, to keep in touch with the satisfaction and needs of its residents. The paper card system is used for independent residents, while emailed electronic surveys are sent to those responsible for critical care residents.

 

“Bria Communities and UniFocus saw an opportunity to work together to test the uncharted waters of using a survey feedback solution in seniors’ housing,” said Rumsby. “We hope to lead by example and emphasize listening to our residents to make sure their concerns are understood and dealt with quickly.”

 

The survey technology uses customized questions designed to identify what is most important to Bria’s residents and determine key opportunities for improvement.
