Technology has made companies more efficient, and has simplified and streamlined daily operations.  However, computers and other devices businesses utilize everyday aren’t without flaws.  Crucial data can be damaged or deleted due to malfunctions in the system, which then leads to a domino effect of errors.  Colocation centers are equipped to handle and prevent such mishaps, and offer users security.  UniFocus is pleased to announce the recent opening of a second colocation center in Seattle, joining the colocation facility operating in Dallas.

Colocation centers offer space, physical security, power and cooling for servers and networking equipment.  By partnering with UniFocus, clients are ensured their data is being safeguarded with the creation of multiple backup files stored at the colocation facilities.  Highly-skilled employees are on-site 24/7 maintaining and overseeing the equipment guaranteeing the process is operating efficiently.  Both of UniFocus’ centers are SSAE 16 compliant, meaning all operational procedures meet the standards set by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

A key benefit of UniFocus’ colocation facility is redundancy due to the availability of multiple power sources, air conditioners, internet service providers and more, which greatly reduces delays in the event of a power failure or disaster.  Other assets include flexibility for partners’ businesses to expand outside the confines of an in-house data center, heightened security, and reliability from refined monitoring devices that can detect issues before they become problematic.

“We are committed to the protection of our partners’ information and ensuring the privacy of their data,” says Mark Heymann, President and CEO of UniFocus.  “Our colocation center in Seattle will act as a backup facility to the center in Dallas, ensuring information is never offline.  Clients always have access to the systems and data that help them operate more efficiently.  This is another component in our guarantee to provide exceptional products and service.” they are never off line and always have access to the systems and information that help them operate more efficiently.

With the opening of an additional colocation center, UniFocus is able to grant relief to companies knowing their information is being maintained and preserved at the highest quality.
