ABOUT THE JOB:

You will be responsible for monitoring every phase of the software development process, including design, development, testing, debugging and delivery; maintaining the quality standards of the software at every stage and ensuring the final product meets the requirement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Understand business requirement documents/specifications and produce test cases and test scripts.
  • Create standards and procedures for developers to follow
  • Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems.
  • Work closely with product development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Analyse product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Analyst.
  • Good exposure of Manual testing, Regression testing and API testing.
  • Good understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Understanding of MS SQL to run basic select queries.
  • Expertise in Test Case Design, Test Execution and Defect Management.
  • Experience in testing mobile web applications on smartphones on Android & IOS platform.
  • Experience in analyzing the defect using fiddler, debugger tool.
  • Good experience in using Bug Tracking system like JIRA or QC.
  • Good understanding of Project Life Cycle and Test Life Cycle.
  • Excellent verbal/listening and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a good team player
