Job Description

We support hotels, restaurants, casinos, and more, with our innovative web-based and mobile software suite. Working collaboratively, the Workforce Performance Implementation Specialist is responsible for compiling and charting client data, configuring various Company software systems, assisting clients in the use and operation of those systems, and assisting the consulting staff in the implementation process as needed to optimize the potential of our systems.

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct system testing for inquiries “outside the box” and/or troubleshooting that may be achievable in configuration, rather than development or manual.
  • Provide a continuous flow of information between the UniFocus Interfaces Team and the Consultants and Project Managers for individual projects.
  • Participate on implementations as directed by the Project Manager; balance multiple projects and follow through on project deadlines.
  • Develop expertise in the Company’s financial, timekeeping, and labor management applications; keep up with training on new releases and changes in the software.
  • Configure software settings to conform to client operation in the appropriate area (Time & Attendance, Budgeting, Labor Management, Event Labor).
  • As needed, provide remote assistance in the use and maintenance of the software, maintaining a positive, consistent, informative working relationship.
  • Perform payroll analyses and Labor Cost Comparisons and be able to review with the Consultants.
  • Complete all necessary project documentation in a timely manner (project status letters, implementation guide updates, etc.).
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • At the request of the VP of Operations or other Senior UniFocus personnel, assists in development or administration of special projects.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications & Education

 

  • Strong attention to deadlines and detail – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
  • Robust oral and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • High degree of computer literacy; working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of hotel/restaurant/other hospitality operations preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hotels, finance, and/or training preferred
  • College degree in Hospitality, Management, Education, Business, or related field

Other Accountabilities

  • Because of the fluctuating demands of UniFocus’ s operation, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as others are expected to help you while we foster a team environment. Therefore, you may be required to perform other tasks, as needed, that are not included in the above.
  • Adhere to all company written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, and other oral instructions.

Working Conditions


  • General office environment with moderate noise (business office with computers, phones, printers, and light traffic).
  • Confined office spaces and open office floor plans.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, especially in front of a computer
  • Repetitive motions are required to use a computer
  • Light to moderate lifting, pushing, and pulling is required
